Dear Fellow Laborers,
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
The Lord has been so good and gracious to us this past quarter and we want to specifically praise Him for providing the complete Gospel Rig! Many of you have donated and have helped us pray for this need and for that we are grateful! We will now be able to haul and store everything that is needed for the tent ministry!
The Lord had the perfect coach waiting on us!
It is a 1998 Renegade Classic. It was garage kept and the previous owner took good care of it. Two weeks later we were able to acquire the trailer needed to haul the tent equipment, it is a 2006 Cargo-Mate Stacker trailer.
Our original goal was $150,000 to purchase the complete rig. As the economy “changed” and prices increased, we were concerned that this amount would not be enough to purchase the rig. By March 6th, the Lord had sent in just over $121,000. Under the leadership of the Lord and our pastor, we began actively searching for a coach and trailer. We were blown away at the deals the Lord brought to us. By April 1st, we had the coach and trailer for a little over $111,000 taxes included! We are taking the remaining $10,000 and making needed repairs and updates on the rig. Any money leftover after these repairs is going into an account for any future repairs on the Gospel rig.
By the end of March we had the rig together and headed out on the road!
We thank the Lord for providing for this need! He never ceases to amaze us! We want to thank each of you who gave and prayed during this endeavor!
The Lord allowed us to spend two weeks in the upper Midwest In January with missionary church planters and we hosted the 6th annual Upper Midwest Winter Fellowship to provide support for these brethren on the field.
Emeline turned seven years old in February. We are thankful for her and can’t believe how quickly time is flying by. We preached a missions conference in February and had several meetings cancel for sickness. In March we preached two revivals and one was extended, we attended the Bible Baptist Jubilee at our home church and were greatly encouraged. The Lord is so good! We’ve seen several saved and called into the ministry this year. Praise be to God!
Please pray for the Rushville Gospel Tent Meeting in Rushville, IN in May, the Alabama Who Will Go Missions Camp in June, and our Guatemala trip in June/July. If you would like more info on the Who Will Camp you can visit the website at www.whowillgo.org
Lord willing, we will be taking a group of 15 down to Guatemala for a Who Will Go missions trip and the family will be going with us Lord willing. The approximate cost will be $4,800 for our family during this trip. The Lord has graciously sent in $1,345 towards this need as of the writing of this letter.
