April-June 2019 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends,
Colossians 4:2-3b
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ
Recent Months
We greet you with joy and excitement in our hearts! God has been so good and gracious to us this past quarter. In April we were in two camp meetings and one church meeting. During the month of May we were in a church revival in North Dakota, the 3rd annual Hope Of Israel National Conference, and an evangelistic meeting at a church in North West Georgia. June brought much excitement with our first trip to the United Kingdom! We spent a week preaching for missionary brother Roger Tooley in Corby, England and then a Sunday-Wednesday meeting with missionary brother Jody Hodnett In Dumfries, Scotland. We also had a couple of stateside Sunday meetings during June as well. At the time of this writing, we have just returned from taking a team of preachers to Papua New Guinea for evangelistic meetings. We will update about this trip in our July-Sept prayer letter.
God has sent us several new supporters during this past quarter and that brings our support level to 61%! We praise the Lord for this great blessing! You’re prayers and monthly support are a great part of what keeps us going in the Lord’s work. The family is doing tremendous and Ezra has made some major strides in his physical progress. Ezra is now army crawling, talking up a storm, and his ability to eat has greatly progressed. We are so thankful for how God has touched our little buddy. Sis Chloe and I celebrated 7 years of marriage on June 28th.
Upcoming Meetings
The whole family will be able to get back on the road with us for most of the summer! We will be heading to Troy, NC for a meeting at the Eldorado Baptist Church. Lord willing, in August we will be in Rushville, Indiana, Landrum, South Carolina, Miamisburg, Ohio, Smithfield, Kentucky, Dayton and Philadelphia, Tennessee, and we’ll finish the month off in McDonough, Georgia.
In the month of September we will be in Shelby, Indiana, Rydal, Georgia, and Lucedale, Mississippi. Please be in prayer over these meetings that the Gospel will be preached in power, Christ will be exalted, lives will be changed, sinners will be saved, and Christians will surrender their lives to the service of the Lord.
International Meetings
As afore mentioned we had a great trip to the United Kingdom with Missionaries Bro Roger Tooley and Bro Jody Hodnett during the month of June. Bro Tooley is a missionary veteran in England and has a thriving work there in Corby. Bro Hodnett has just celebrated two years in Dumfries, Scotland and God is building a great work there in that city. Please pray for the Lord to send laborers into His harvest in the Untied Kingdom!
Tent Meetings
Lord willing, September 1-13 we will be working alongside four churches just west of Indianapolis, Indiana for the “East Indy Gospel Tent Meeting” in Shelby, IN! The first week our team will work with the churches in saturating the area with Gospel literature and invitations to the tent meeting. During the second week we will begin meeting under the tent on Sunday night with all four churches and will go at least through that Friday night. Would you help us pray that the Lord will manifest Himself greatly and that many sinners would repent and place their faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary?
Project: Who Will Go?
During the month of March I began studying the life of Hudson Taylor and his work in China. Each time Bro Taylor would return to England from China he would write a book highlighting the spiritual needs in China. Over the next couple of months the Lord began dealing with my heart about writing a booklet called “Who Will Go?” that would highlight the need for laborers and the Gospel all over the world. This burden led to another. Now throughout our travels we have began videoing on location in different countries, states, and regions the specific needs in each place. Once people began seeing the videos pastors began approaching us about holding Who Will Go youth conferences and missions conferences and preachers began contacting us about God’s call on their lives to missions! God has now even opened the door to host a “Who Will Go?” Missions Youth Camp next June! God is so good! Lord willing, the book will be available by October at our first “Who Will Go?” youth conference being held at Faith Baptist Church in Spring City, Tn where Bro Tim Giddens is pastor on October 11-13. Please help us pray for the funds to do the first printing and that we’ll never have to charge one dime for the books!
