July-December 2019 Prayer Letter

Dear Friends,

Psalm 118:23 This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Recent Months
Sis Chloé and Ezra have both celebrated a birthday since we last wrote and Ezra has also come such a very long way over the past year in his development. Emeline is learning more songs and verses and she’s growing into such a helpful young lady. Since July we’ve been in many meetings here in the states and abroad! In July and August, along with our church meetings, we were able to minister in Papua New Guinea and in five new churches! The entire month of September was spent preaching an extended meeting under the tent in Indiana! In October we spent most of the month preaching in Florida as well as preaching the first Who Will Go Conference! In November we preached in four different states and we just finished up our last week long meeting of the year in north Georgia.

Upcoming Meetings
Lord willing, we have most of our Sundays booked during December and will spend the weeks catching up on errands, repairs, drs appointments, visiting family, and other things we aren’t able to do while traveling. Hopefully we will get some rest as well! In January we will be heading out west to labor in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Alaska with missionary church planters and we also have two church meetings in Alabama and Mississippi. February will bring two church meetings and an evangelistic trip to Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to labor along side missionary Bro David Ballinger for the third year in a row. Lord willing the Bequia Trip will be the first time the family will be traveling with me out of the country. In March we will be in several revivals and our home church’s annual jubilee!

International Meetings
We spent the end of June and the first of July in the country of Papua New Guinea. This trip was absolutely amazing and they keep getting better. During our time there we preached two separate meetings. The first meeting was a National Jewish Conference in the Lampo Village and the second was a city wide Gospel campaign in the town of Goroka. Literally thousands came out each morning and night during the two weeks of meeting to hear the Word of God preached! That we know of 175 were saved, 5 surrendered to missions, 4 surrendered to plant churches, 2 surrendered to preach, and 1 surrendered to evangelism. To God Be The Glory! Tent Meetings
This year we celebrated 10 years of Gospel Tent Ministry and the Lord sure allowed us to celebrate! Our team arrived in east Indianapolis on August 31st to start knocking doors and we didn’t end up leaving until October 11th! God sat down in the East Indy Gospel Tent Meeting and He moved like I’ve never seen before. 8 churches, great unity, 37 saved, and 2 surrendered to preach! God is so good and we can’t wait until next year! Lord Willing In 2020, we will return to another location in Indiana, and conduct tent meetings in North Dakota and South Dakota! Project: Who Will Go?
Our first Who Will Go Missions Youth Conference was a huge success and God gave us a very eye opening meeting. Lord willing, we will host the first Who Will Go Missions Youth Camp next year on June 15-19 at the Faith Baptist Camp in Roanoke, Alabama. We will be preaching missions to young people, promoting missions to young people, and preparing young people for missions! During that week we will have directors from mission boards speaking, missionaries giving their burdens, 3rd world missions training, veteran missionaries speaking, and Bro James Ruckman and I will be preaching. If you are interested in sending some young people please let me know as we only have 100 spots. Also if you’d like to sponsor a young person to go please contact me.
In our last letter we mentioned the burden to write The Who Will Go book and the desire to never have to charge for it. After reading our letter we had a dear sister from East Tennessee send us the exact amount to pay for the first printing of the book! Glory! Lord willing we will have the book completed by the end of December and available early next year!

Needs
As of this writing our family is at 65% on our monthly support and we praise the Lord for it! Our tent meetings and evangelistic trips would not be possible without this support. Please pray that this will continue to increase. During the month of February, as before mentioned, our family will be traveling to Bequia for a Gospel Tent Meeting. The cost of this trip will be about $4,500 for our family. Our support is going up but it’s still not to the point where we can take care of our stateside needs and pay for the trips at the same time. Please help us pray for this great need and if you would like to give towards this need you can do so through our website:www.HewettsForRevival.com

Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support.

In Christ,
The Hewetts
